Cultural exchange in Istria" - Pula, Croatia 02 - 06 July

From July 2nd to 6th, the sun-drenched coastal jewel of Pula, Croatia, became a radiant stage for an extraordinary gathering of Folk & Dance ensembles from Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Lithuania, as they captivated audiences in the mesmerizing "XXII International Music & Folk – Dance Festival ISTRA SUMMER FEST"

Beneath the golden hues of the Adriatic sunset and against the majestic backdrop of Pula’s ancient Roman amphitheater, the festival blossomed into a breathtaking celebration of tradition, artistry, and cross-cultural harmony, leaving an unforgettable imprint on performers and spectators alike.

With unmatched passion, each ensemble brought their nation’s folklore to life through electrifying choreography, vibrant costumes, and soul-stirring melodies. The festival’s enchanting venues—from moonlit seaside stages to the historic squares of Pula’s Old Town—thrummed with energy as the fiery elegance of Polish Mazurkas, the dynamic pulse of Romanian hora, the haunting harmonies of Bulgarian folk songs, and the spirited precision of Lithuanian dances swept the crowd into a whirlwind of emotion. Warm Istrian nights resonated with thunderous applause as artists poured their hearts into every step and note.

As the festival reached its dazzling finale, a jubilant awards ceremony honored all participants with certificates and special keepsakes, celebrating not only their extraordinary talent but also the unbreakable bonds of friendship and cultural unity forged along Croatia’s stunning shores.
