Overview

The festival

The XXVI International Music & Dance Festival “PARALIA PARADISE” takes place in Paralia-Katerini, Greece, from 25–30 August 2027.

This non-competitive event presents the cultural traditions of different countries, builds friendships between participants and brings music and dance closer to the public through performances on the streets and squares of Paralia and Olympic Beach.

Wednesday 25 August

Arrival in Paralia

  1. 25 August 2027: Arrival and hotel accommodation.

  2. Dinner at the hotel.

  3. Welcome reception with group leaders.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • Festival organization.
  • A souvenir and gift for each group.
  • A certificate of attendance.
  • A welcome reception for group leaders.
  • Free parking.
  • Festival advertising and promotion.

Not included

  • Arrival and departure transport: groups must arrange their own.
  • Double-room supplement: EUR 10 per person per day.
  • Single-room supplement: EUR 35 per person per day.
  • Extra half-board day: EUR 39 per person per day.
  • Tourist tax: EUR 2 per person per day.

Accommodation packages are on a half-board basis, with breakfast and dinner included.

Possible hotels and apartments include Yakhintos, Katerina, Xenia, Zeus, Ifigenia, Despina, London, Phenix, Rainbow Resort, Passion, Kronos and Bambus.

Two double rooms are provided for group leaders and drivers.

Booking & Payment Terms

Festival Packages

  • EUR 144 per person for 3 nights / 4 days.
  • EUR 169 per person for 4 nights / 5 days.
  • EUR 209 per person for 5 nights / 6 days.

Free Places

One free participant is offered for every 24 paying participants: 24+1, 48+2.

Booking & Payment

A 10% guarantee fee is payable in advance and deducted from the final payment. After acceptance, the deposit must be paid according to the organizer’s instructions.

Participation

Who Can Participate

Children, youth and adults are welcome from folk ensembles, folk and modern dance groups, choirs, vocal and instrumental groups, orchestras, art schools, majorette teams, ballroom dance groups and other performing arts groups. Soloists may also participate.

Application & Group Rules

  • A maximum of 3 groups per country may participate.
  • Each group may have a maximum of 50 persons.
  • Groups should send a short CV and photos.
  • Each group should bring its national flag.

Performance & Stage

  • Dance groups should prepare at least 2 dances, with a total program of 15–20 minutes.
  • Performances may be accompanied by an orchestra or USB playback.
  • Choirs should prepare approximately 15 minutes of freely chosen repertoire.
  • The organizer provides the performance stage.

Excursions

Optional sightseeing and leisure opportunities are scheduled in the daily program below.

The Thermaikos Gulf boat excursion includes swimming stops, a visit to Variko Beach and lunch with grilled fish, Greek salad and drinks.
