Overview

The festival

The XXIII International Spring Festival “GARDA’S LAKE” takes place in Desenzano del Garda, on Lake Garda (Lago di Garda), Italy, from 10–13 April 2027.

Bringing together participants from different countries and artistic backgrounds, the festival offers cultural exchange, stage performances and an artistic experience in a non-political, inclusive environment. Its aim is to promote friendship and mutual respect through music, dance and performance.

Performances may be promoted through Italian national and regional television, radio, newspapers and magazines.

Price includes

Booking & Payment Terms

Package Pricing

Prices are per person and depend on the selected hotel standard.

  • Hotel near Garda: 3-night package EUR 199; extra night EUR 45.
  • Standard Hotel: 3-night package EUR 225; extra night EUR 55.
  • Hotel Comfort: 3-night package EUR 245; extra night EUR 58.

Free Places for Standard Groups

  • 25+1: one free participant for every 25 paying participants.
  • For groups with 40+ participants, participants 41, 42 and 43 are free.

Booking & Payment

  • A 30% advance deposit of the total amount is required to confirm participation.
  • The source separately states that a 10% guarantee fee is payable in advance and deducted from the final payment. Both requirements are retained separately; their relationship is not clarified.

Cancellation

  • Up to 60 days before arrival: no penalty.
  • From 59 to 15 days before arrival: the deposit is withheld, plus an additional penalty of 50% of the total booking cost.
  • In case of force majeure, the deposit can be transferred to a future Sopravista festival within 3 years.

Participation

Groups of all ages and artistic genres are welcome, including:

  • Folk dance and song groups
  • Choirs
  • Instrumental ensembles
  • Orchestras
  • Marching bands
  • Majorette teams
  • Modern dance groups
  • Hip-hop groups
  • Fashion theatres
  • Oriental dance performers

Groups are encouraged to bring:

  • A national flag
  • A group name panel
  • A small gift for exchange with other participants

Registration

  • Complete the application form and submit a short biography and color photos during registration.
  • Submit the final participant list, including names, dates of birth and passport details, by 25 March 2027.

Recognition

All participating groups receive a diploma and a plaque. Thank-you letters for team leaders and sponsors are available upon request.

Performance & Stage

  • Each group should prepare a performance program of up to 10 minutes per concert.
  • Both live and recorded music are allowed.
