The festival

The XXI International Festival for Dance and Songs “PARALIA FESTIVAL DAYS” takes place in Paralia, Greece, from 3–7 July 2027.

This non-competitive event brings together performers from different countries to celebrate international friendship and share musical and dance traditions through public performances.

Saturday 3 July

Arrival in Paralia

  1. 3 July 2027: Arrival of participating groups and hotel accommodation.

  2. Dinner at the hotel.

  3. Welcome reception with group leaders.

Getting around

Local buses link Katerini and Paralia. Coastal walking and cycling routes connect nearby resort areas.

Practical notes

Road access is via E75 and Katerini/Korinos. The small harbour is not evidence of a scheduled passenger ferry.

Participation

Who Can Participate

  • Folk dance groups

Participation Conditions

  • A maximum of 3 groups per country may participate.
  • Each group may have a maximum of 50 persons.
  • Groups should provide a short CV and photos.
  • Each group should bring its national flag.
  • Groups organize their own arrival and departure transport.

Performance & Stage

  • Dance ensembles should prepare at least 2 dances, with a total dance program of approximately 15 minutes.
  • Choirs should prepare approximately 15 minutes of free program.
  • The organizer provides the festival stage.

1. Meteora

Discover one of Greece’s most impressive natural and religious landmarks, featuring magnificent rock formations and centuries-old monasteries.

2. Thessaloniki

Explore the cultural heart of Northern Greece, with free time for sightseeing, shopping, visiting historical landmarks, and enjoying the city center.

Visit the legendary home of the ancient Greek gods. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views, beautiful nature, peaceful monasteries, and light walking.
