Overview

The festival

The XXI International Festival “Adriatic Rhythms – Bar” takes place from 22 to 26 August 2027 in Bar, Sutomore and Čanj, Montenegro.

This non-competitive event features evening performances, leaving the daytime available for seaside relaxation and exploring the region.

Sunday 22 August

Arrival & Welcome

  1. Arrival in Bar and hotel accommodation. Swimming and sunbathing. Meeting with the festival director.

  2. Dinner.

  3. Free time.

Stay & prices

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • Accommodation according to the selected Half Board package.
  • One complimentary place for every 25 dancers.
  • Souvenir and gift for each group.
  • Welcome cocktail with group leaders.
  • Certificate of attendance.
  • Drinks during performances.
  • Festival promotion through press releases, social media, posters and flyers.
  • Free parking.

Not included

  • Arrival and departure transportation, which groups must arrange themselves.
  • Tourist tax and insurance: €1.50 per person per day.
  • Extended stays on a Half Board basis: €34 per person per day.
  • Double-room supplement: €10 per person per night.
  • Single-room supplement: €20 per person per night.
  • Additional lunch: €16 per person per day.
  • Budva sightseeing and boat trip to Sveti Stefan: €10 per person.
  • All medical costs must be covered by the group.

Accommodation is provided in selected hotels on a Half Board basis, with two meals per day.

Booking & Payment Terms

Packages cost €135 per person for 3 nights or €165 per person for 4 nights.

Participation

Who Can Participate

  • Folklore ensembles, choirs, orchestras, modern dance groups, majorette teams, vocal groups, instrumental groups and soloists are welcome.
  • Children, youth and adults may participate.
  • A maximum of 3 groups per country may participate.
  • Each group may have up to 50 members, including dancers, managers and musicians.

Application & Preparation

  • Submit a short CV and 2–3 group photos.
  • Each group should bring its national flag.

Health Insurance

Personal responsibility and health insurance are the responsibility of each participating group. First Aid and hospital services are available.

Performance & Stage

  • Each ensemble should prepare at least 2 dances or performances.
  • The total programme should last approximately 15 minutes.
  • Live orchestra or USB playback is allowed.

Excursions

Excursions are arranged upon arrival, and other excursions can also be arranged at that time. Scheduled sightseeing options and beach activities are listed in the daily programme.
