The festival

XX International Folklore Festival “Prague Fest” takes place from 5 to 8 November 2026 in Prague, Czechia (Czech Republic).

The festival celebrates cultural heritage, traditional music and dance, with opportunities to discover the host city between performances.

Thursday 5 November

Arrival & Prague Tour

    5 November: arrival and hotel check-in.

    Optional guided walking tour: Václav Square, National Museum, Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Jewish Quarter, Staronová Synagogue, Charles Bridge, Karl IV Monument and National Theatre.

    Dinner at the hotel.

    Optional discotheque.

    Overnight.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • Accommodation in the selected hotel package.
  • Half Board meals: breakfast and dinner.
  • Festival organization and expenses.
  • Festival performance.
  • Certificates, plaques and participation gifts.
  • One complimentary place for every 25 participants.

  • Parking fees.
  • Road vignettes.
  • Insurance.
  • Personal expenses.
  • Additional meals.
  • Optional excursions and activities, priced separately below.
  • Tourist tax: €2 per person per day, applicable only to participants over 18 years old.
  • Extra nights: from €45 per person per night, depending on the selected hotel and room type.
  • Single-room supplement: quoted as €7 per person per night, or starting from that amount in the terms, depending on the selected hotel.

Accommodation is provided in selected 3-star and 4-star hotels, according to the chosen package, mainly in shared triple and quadruple rooms (1/3 and 1/4).

  • 3-star: Hotel Abito.

  • 4-star:
    Hotel Olšanka, Top Hotel, Olympik Congress or other similar hotels.

Booking & Payment Terms

Package Prices

  • Hotel Abito package: €135 per person for 2 nights or €165 per person for 3 nights.
  • Selected 4-star hotel package: €140 per person for 2 nights or €175 per person for 3 nights.

Deposit & Payment

  • A refundable hotel deposit of approximately €20–€30 per person may be required, depending on the selected hotel.
  • Groups pay a 10% guarantee fee in advance, deducted from the final payment.
  • Final payment is due 90 days before arrival.

Participation is open to folklore ensembles from different countries.

An official invitation letter is included in the package.

Excursions

  • Prague Guided Tour — from €5 per person: discover the historic centre and its major landmarks. The scheduled walking-tour route is listed in the arrival-day program.
  • Dresden — €35 per person: an optional full-day trip to the historic German city, including the Zwinger, Royal Palace and Semper Opera House.
  • Karlovy Vary — €35 per person: visit one of Europe’s best-known historic spa towns.
  • Karlštejn Castle — €25 per person: an optional excursion to the famous medieval castle near Prague.
  • Vltava River Boat Tour — €15 per person: a scenic cruise offering views of Prague from the water.
  • Discotheque Visit — €15 per person: an optional evening social activity for festival participants.
