Participation
Participation is open to children's, youth, adult, veteran and mixed folklore ensembles, as well as dance groups, majorette groups, singing groups, choirs and orchestras.
The festival program takes place over three days – Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Groups may perform during all three festival evenings or according to prior agreement with the organizer. Participation in the final festival evening on Sunday is mandatory.
Each group should prepare at least one choreography, which may be performed during each festival evening. Groups are encouraged, where possible, to prepare different choreographies for the different performances.
Live musical accompaniment is welcome but is not mandatory. Groups may also perform using recorded music from a CD, flash drive or USB device.
For the final festival evening, participants should bring a sign displaying the name of their group as well as their national flag. The final evening also includes a parade and selections for traditional costume and festival recognitions.
