The festival

The festival brings together folklore ensembles from Europe and around the world for stage performances and shared cultural experiences.

Due to strong international interest, it is organized in both spring and autumn, with the same general program for both periods.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • After receiving the official invitation letter, the group must pay 30% of the total amount within 15 days of confirmation.
  • The remaining 70% is payable upon arrival at the hotel.

The organizer reserves the right to modify certain festival conditions and will inform participants accordingly.

Local and suburban buses, taxis and the coastal cycle path support journeys around the area.

Practical notes

A10 serves the Riviera. Connections through Nice/Ventimiglia cross the France–Italy border; check onward services and arrange town coach parking.

Rules, excursions & practical details

Participation

Folklore ensembles from all countries may apply. No age or participant-number limit is stated.

Places are limited, so groups are encouraged to apply in good time.

Performance & Stage

  • Each ensemble must prepare 3 different programs, each lasting no more than 12 minutes.
  • Groups should bring their national flag and a sign displaying the ensemble name and country.
  • Groups without live music should bring a battery-powered loudspeaker/player for outdoor performances in Sanremo and Cannes and for the Diano Marina parade.

Excursions

The sightseeing day along the Côte d’Azur is optional; its destinations are listed in the daily program.
