The festival

The XVII International Folk-Dance & Music Festival “COTE D’AZUR” 2027 is presented for San Remo, Italy. The introduction also refers to the event as Riviera Roots & Rhythms Festival 2027.

Ensembles from around the world come together in the Mediterranean atmosphere of the Italian and French Riviera, combining stage appearances, parades and travel.

Price includes

  • Four nights of accommodation.
  • Breakfast and dinner (half board).
  • Festival participation.

  • Group transportation.
  • Bus parking where required.
  • Checkpoint costs for Monaco and Monte Carlo.
  • International travel health insurance.
  • Personal expenses.
  • Single-room supplements.
  • Local bus expenses for participants arriving by plane.
  • Room upgrades and special accommodation requests may incur additional charges.

Participants stay in selected 3-star hotels in Diano Marina or San Bartolomeo al Mare, in double, triple or quadruple rooms.

The organizer will confirm the exact hotel and room allocation according to availability and group size. Single rooms, room upgrades and special accommodation requests are subject to availability.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • The festival package costs EUR 195 per participant.
  • A deposit of 30% of the total amount is payable within 15 days of confirmation.
  • The remaining 70% is payable upon arrival at the hotel.
  • Free places are not specified and must be confirmed directly with the organizer.
  • The organizer reserves the right to change certain festival conditions and will inform participants accordingly.

Rules, excursions & practical details

Participation

  • Folklore ensembles from all countries may apply. No age or participant-number limit is stated.
  • Groups must bring their national flag and a board displaying the ensemble’s name and country.

Visa & Invitations

Groups receive an official invitation letter before the deposit payment is required.

Performance & Stage

  • Each ensemble must prepare three different programs, each lasting no more than 12 minutes.

Excursions

Sightseeing opportunities are integrated into the festival itinerary, combining folklore activities with travel and cultural discovery along the Côte d’Azur and Mediterranean coast.
