The festival

The XVI International Music & Folk – Dance Festival “OHRID AUTUMN FESTIVAL” takes place in Ohrid, North Macedonia, from 22–25 October 2027.

The festival presents the cultural traditions of different countries and regions, offering participants opportunities to meet, create friendships and share their culture through music and dance.

Participation

Who Can Participate

  • Modern dance groups

  • Majorette teams
  • Instrumental groups

Participation Conditions

  • No age limit.
  • Maximum 3 groups per country.
  • Maximum 50 members per group, including dancers, managers and musicians.
  • Groups should submit a short CV, 2–3 photos and participation details.
  • Each group should bring its national flag.
  • Groups organize their own arrival and departure transport.

Health Insurance

Personal responsibility and health insurance are required for all groups. First aid and medical services are available.

Performance & Stage

  • Each ensemble should prepare at least 2 dances, with each performance lasting approximately 10–15 minutes.
  • Performances may be accompanied by a live orchestra or recorded music.
  • Vocal groups should prepare a free program lasting approximately 15–20 minutes.
  • Performances take place in the evening, leaving daytime available for sightseeing and excursions.
  • The final official festival program is issued approximately one month before arrival.
