The festival

The XV International Music & Dance Festival “Magical Dubai” takes place from 11 to 17 December 2026 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This non-competitive event presents the cultural traditions of different countries through music and dance, giving participants opportunities to meet, build friendships and experience the city.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • Breakfast is included in the Bed & Breakfast packages and the extra-night rate.
  • One complimentary place is provided for every 35 paying participants.

Not included

  • Arrival and departure transportation is the responsibility of participating groups.
  • Tourist tax: €2.50 per person per day.
  • Optional open-buffet dinner: €20 per person.
  • Optional excursions.
  • Insurance.
  • Personal expenses.

Accommodation is provided in selected 4-star hotels, including MD Hotel Al Barsha and Grand Excelsior Hotel Al Barsha. Standard accommodation is in triple rooms and quadruple apartments; double rooms are also available.

  • Bed & Breakfast package for 4 nights / 5 days: €196 per person.
  • Bed & Breakfast package for 5 nights / 6 days: €249 per person.
  • Double-room supplement: €15 per person per night.
  • Extra nights: €49 per person per night, based on triple-room accommodation.

Participation

Who Can Participate

Children, youth and adult performers are welcome, including folk ensembles, choirs, orchestras, brass bands, majorette teams, vocal groups, art schools, instrumental groups, soloists and performers from other artistic disciplines.

  • A maximum of 3 groups from each country may participate.
  • Each group may have up to 50 members, including performers, managers, musicians and accompanying family members.
  • Groups must submit a short CV in English, 3 group photos and a video performance link.
  • Each group should bring its national flag.

Health Insurance

Participating groups are responsible for personal responsibility and health insurance. First aid and hospital services are available, but groups must cover all medical expenses.

Visa & Invitations

The festival page states that EU country members do not need a visa for Dubai.

Performance & Stage

  • Groups should prepare a 12–15 minute programme.
  • Choirs should prepare approximately 12 minutes of programme.
  • Performances may use live music or playback from USB.
