The festival

The XII International Music & Dance Festival “Saranda Fest” takes place from 28 May to 1 June 2027 in Saranda–Ksamil, Albania.

The festival aims to present the cultural traditions of different countries, create new international friendships and bring music and dance closer to the public through evening performances in streets and squares.

Friday 28 May

Arrival

  1. Arrival in Saranda and check-in at the hotel.

  2. Dinner.

  3. Meeting with festival representatives.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • One complimentary place for every 25 participants (24 paying + 1 free).
  • Souvenirs and gifts for each group.
  • Certificate of attendance for each participant.
  • Drinks during performances.
  • Free hotel parking.

Not included

  • Arrival and departure transportation costs, paid by the participating group.

  • Tourist tax: additional, amount to be confirmed separately.

  • Optional excursions and excursion packages described below.

Accommodation is provided at the 4-star Andon Lapa Hotel Resort & Spa, directly by the sea and approximately 500 m from Saranda city centre.

  • Indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
  • Private/on-site beach.
  • Spa centre and gym.
  • Double rooms for group leaders and drivers; triple rooms are also available.

Accommodation follows the selected meal package: HB – Half Board, with 2 meals per day served as an open buffet, or BB – Bed & Breakfast.

Participation

This is a non-competitive festival open to folklore ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, ballroom dance groups and modern dance teams, with children, youth and adult participants welcome.

  • Maximum 3 groups per country.
  • Maximum 70 participants per group, including dancers, managers, musicians and family members.
  • Each group must submit a short CV, 5 photos and a video link.
  • Each group should bring its national flag.

Performance & Stage

  • Folklore ensembles should prepare at least 2 dances/performances of 10–15 minutes each.
  • Choirs should prepare a free programme of approximately 15 minutes.
  • Live orchestra or USB playback is allowed.

Excursions

Optional Excursions

  • Corfu Island: includes return ferry Saranda–Corfu–Saranda, bus and guide. Optional lunch costs approximately €20–25 per person.
  • Gjirokastër & Blue Eye: includes bus, guide, entrance to Gjirokastër Castle, Museum of Weapons, Blue Eye entrance and return shuttle inside the park.
  • Gjirokastër & Blue Eye with Lunch: the same programme with lunch in Gjirokastër.
  • Butrint Archaeological Park & Ksamil: includes bus, guide and entrance ticket to Butrint.
  • Albanian Evening: includes transfer to Restaurant Foinike, traditional Albanian dinner, one drink and a folkloric group performance.

TRIO Package

Corfu Island + Gjirokastër & Blue Eye without lunch + Albanian Evening. Separate total: €147; package price: €137.
