The festival

The XII International Choir Festival “SKIATHOS VOICES” 2027 takes place in Skiathos, Greece.

Famous for its pine forests, more than 60 sandy beaches and crystal-clear sea, Skiathos offers an inspiring island setting for choral performances, cultural exchange and summer leisure.

Accommodation is in selected 3-star hotels.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • A 10% guarantee fee is paid in advance and deducted from the final payment.
  • Applications are submitted online, with application confirmation sent immediately.
  • Within approximately 2 days, groups receive an application number and a list of required materials.
  • WOFA reviews the application and availability.
  • Accepted groups receive deposit instructions.
  • The deposit must be paid within 10 days.
  • Participation becomes officially confirmed after deposit confirmation.

Rules, excursions & practical details

Participation

Who Can Participate

  • Children’s, youth and adult choirs
  • Singing groups, vocal groups and other types of choral ensembles
  • A maximum of 3 groups per country
  • A minimum of 50 members per group, including singers, managers and musicians

Required Materials & Arrangements

  • A short group biography
  • 2–3 group photos
  • Each group should bring its national flag.
  • Groups arrange their own transport to and from Skiathos.

Visa & Invitations

Accepted groups receive an invitation letter.

Performance & Stage

  • Each group should prepare a singing program of approximately 15 minutes.
  • Festival performances are scheduled in the evening, leaving daytime available for excursions and beach activities.
  • Performances take place at the main square of Skiathos. Due to the special location, a conventional stage will not be used.

Excursions

Optional activities and services include:

  • Boat trips to nearby islands and beaches
  • Visits to monasteries, museums and churches
  • Greek Night parties
  • Photo opportunities near arriving aircraft
  • Diving experiences
  • Dolphin, turtle and marine-life excursions
  • Organized ferry transportation
  • Assistance with transport from Thessaloniki Airport
