The festival

The XII International Choir Festival “SINGING IN PARALIA” takes place in Paralia, Greece, from 23–27 June 2027.

This non-competitive event promotes choral music through shared experience and cultural presentations. Public performances take place in Paralia and Olympic Beach.

Day by day

Wednesday 23 June

Arrival in Paralia

  1. Arrival in Paralia, hotel accommodation and free beach time.

  2. Dinner at the hotel.

  3. Welcome reception with group leaders and Aloha Beach Party.

Price includes

  • Accommodation.
  • Half Board: breakfast and dinner.

Not included

  • Arrival and departure transport: groups arrange their own transport.
  • Transfers from Thessaloniki Airport, approximately 75 km from Paralia, can be arranged at an additional cost depending on group size.
  • Double room supplement: EUR 12 per person/day.
  • Single room supplement: EUR 35 per person/day.
  • Extended stay with Half Board: EUR 32 per person/day.
  • Tourist tax: EUR 2 per person/day, paid separately.

Groups stay in selected 3-star hotels and apartments in Paralia or Olympic Beach. Accommodation can be arranged in double, triple or quadruple rooms; single rooms are also available.

Accommodation allocation depends on availability, group size and room configuration.

Package prices are per person in double, triple or quadruple rooms.

Booking & Payment

A 10% guarantee fee is paid in advance and deducted from the final payment. After acceptance, deposit instructions are provided. The deposit must be paid within 10 days to secure participation.

Participation

Who Can Participate

  • Children’s choirs: at least two-thirds of members must be 16 or younger.
  • Youth choirs: at least two-thirds of members must be 27 or younger.
  • Adult choirs: at least one-third of members must be older than 27.
  • Singing formations.

Group Size

Maximum group size: 70 persons, including singers, managers and musicians.

Personal & Health Insurance

Each participating group is responsible for its own personal and health insurance.

Performance & Stage

  • Each choir must participate in at least two of the three festival sections.
  • Open-Air Performance: 12–15 minutes in a public outdoor setting.
  • Spiritual Music: 8–14 minutes.
  • Pop or Folk Music: 8–14 minutes.
  • Groups must provide their own instruments.
  • The organizer provides the stage for performances.

Excursions

The festival combines its activities with optional leisure and sightseeing experiences. See the daily program for boat trips, sightseeing visits, beach activities and free time.
