Overview

The festival

The XI International Dance & Choir Festival “Mama Mia Fest” 2027, also presented as the XI International Dance & Music Festival, takes place from 6 to 10 September 2027 on Skiathos, Greece.

The island is famous for its pine forests, crystal-clear sea and more than 60 sandy beaches, including Lalaria, Koukounaries, Banana, Megali Ammos and Vromolimnos.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • Accommodation and breakfast under the selected Bed & Breakfast package.
  • One complimentary place for every 25 paying participants.

Not included

  • All transportation costs are paid by the participating group.
  • Tourist tax and insurance fee: €2 per person per day, charged additionally.
  • Optional dinner: €20 per person per night.
  • Optional excursions and additional services are charged separately.
  • Extra nights: €45 per person per night.
  • Double-room supplement: €12 per person per night.
  • Single-room supplement: €30 per person per night.

Accommodation is provided in selected 3-star hotels approximately 800 meters from Skiathos city centre. Standard accommodation is in triple and quadruple rooms, with double rooms provided for group leaders and drivers.

Booking & Payment Terms

Bed & Breakfast packages cost €159 per person for 4 nights / 5 days or €189 per person for 5 nights / 6 days.

Participation

Who Can Participate

  • Children’s, youth and adult groups are welcome, with no age limit.
  • Eligible participants include folklore ensembles, contemporary and modern dance groups, vocal groups, majorette teams, instrumental groups, choirs, orchestras, ballroom dance teams, art schools, music theatre groups and other performing ensembles.
  • A maximum of 3 groups per country may participate.
  • Each group should consist of at least 50 members.

Application & Participation Materials

  • Submit a short biography and 2–3 photos.
  • Bring your national flag.

Performance & Stage

  • Ensembles should prepare at least 2 performances lasting approximately 10–15 minutes each.
  • Vocal groups should prepare approximately 15–20 minutes.
  • Live orchestra or USB accompaniment is allowed.

Excursions

Optional Activities

  • Boat trips to nearby islands and beaches.
  • Visits to monasteries, museums and churches.
  • Greek Night.
  • Photo opportunities near landing aircraft.
  • Diving.
  • Dolphin, turtle, fish and coral spotting.
  • Ferry excursions.
