Overview

The festival

X International Majorette & Orchestra Festival “ADRIATIC BATON FESTIVAL” takes place in Durrës, Albania, from 16–20 September 2027. The festival welcomes majorette teams, brass orchestras and related music groups from different countries for a non-competitive international event combining parade performances, stage presentations and cultural exchange.

The festival is designed to promote friendship between participating groups and create a lively public atmosphere in Durrës through music, choreography and open-air performances.

Program

Festival program

Day 1 – 16 September 2027 | Arrival in Durrës
13:00 – Arrival in Durrës, hotel accommodation and free beach time.
18:00–19:00 – Buffet dinner.
21:00 – Welcome reception with group leaders.

Day 2 – 17 September 2027 | Durrës Sightseeing & Festival Opening
09:00–10:00 – Buffet breakfast.
11:00–15:00 – Sightseeing in Durrës.
18:00–19:00 – Buffet dinner.
19:30–23:00 – Parade along the main street to the city square, followed by the festival opening and performances.

Day 3 – 18 September 2027 | Beach Time or Krujë
09:00–10:00 – Buffet breakfast.
10:30–15:00 – Free beach time or optional visit to Krujë. Entrance: €2.
17:00–18:00 – Buffet dinner.

Day 4 – 19 September 2027 | Beach / Krujë & Pool Party
09:00–10:00 – Buffet breakfast.
10:30–15:00 – Beach time or optional visit to Krujë. Entrance: €2.
17:00–18:00 – Buffet dinner.
21:00 – Party with all participants around the hotel swimming pool.

Day 5 – 20 September 2027 | Departure
09:00–11:00 – Buffet breakfast.
11:00 – Departure of participating groups.

Stay & prices

Accommodation packages

Accommodation is provided at Hotel Bonita 5★ in Durrës. The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool, private beach, spa center and gym. The standard package includes Half Board with breakfast and dinner. Group leaders and drivers are accommodated in double rooms, while other participants are mainly accommodated in triple rooms.

Double rooms are available with a supplement of €10 per person/day, while single rooms are available with a supplement of €25 per person/day. An additional night with Half Board is €45 per person. Tourist tax is €1 per person/day and is paid separately. One free place is provided for every 24 paying participants (24+1).

GENERAL PARTICIPATION RULES

  • Festival is non-competitive

  • Maximum 3 groups per country

  • Maximum 70 participants per group

  • Each group should prepare a performance of approximately 10–15 minutes

  • Performances may use USB music or orchestral accompaniment

  • Groups participate in public festival activities and parade-style performances

  • Groups arrange their own arrival and departure transport

FESTIVAL PACKAGES

  • €153 per person — 3 nights, Half Board

  • €193 per person — 4 nights, Half Board

  • €233 per person — 5 nights, Half Board

  • Accommodation at Hotel Bonita 5★

  • Breakfast and dinner included

FREE PLACES

  • 24+1 — one free place for every 24 paying participants

  • Group leaders and drivers are accommodated in double rooms according to the organizer’s conditions
