Overview

The festival

The X Marmaris International Dance & Music Festival and Competition takes place from 26 to 30 October 2027 in Marmaris, Muğla, Türkiye.

Situated where the Mediterranean and Aegean regions meet, Marmaris is one of Turkey’s best-known tourist destinations, celebrated for its coastline, natural scenery and rich cultural history.

The event brings together performers from different countries for dance, music, cultural exchange and competition, offering participating groups the opportunity to perform while experiencing this popular coastal destination.

Not included

  • Round-trip Dalaman–Marmaris transfer: €35 per person. Transfers are available only from Dalaman Airport.
  • Competition evaluation fee for one competition number, per participant: soloist €60; duet €50; trio €40; groups €25.
  • Excursions are paid separately to the tour operator.

Rooms are arranged for 3 or 4 people. Meals are served buffet-style. Depending on the performance schedule, participants may receive either a regular hotel meal or a packed meal.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • There are no free participants, regardless of group size.
  • The organization does not pay participating groups any fee for attending the festival.
  • Excursion prices and final arrangements are confirmed 30 days before the festival. Payment is made after arrival at the hotel.

Participation

Participants must be at least 10 years old, and each group must include at least 5 people. Group photographs must be submitted with the application.

  • Folk, modern, classical and country dance groups
  • Folk, classical, instrumental and country music groups
  • Chorus and vocal groups
  • Brass bands and rhythm groups
  • Street theatre, mime and acrobatic groups
  • Majorette and flag groups

Performance & Stage

  • Performances may last 5, 10 or 15 minutes.
  • Music may be performed live or supplied by CD or USB.

Excursions

Excursions & Sightseeing

  • Marmaris Sun, Swim & Splash Boat Adventure: All-inclusive boat tour visiting Aquarium Bay, Paradise Island, Phosphorous Cave, Amos Beach, Turunç and Green Bay.
  • Full-Day Guided Dalyan Tour: Boat trip departing from İçmeler and Marmaris, featuring highlights of the Dalyan region.
  • Atlantis Water Park – Marmaris & İçmeler: Numerous slides, a private beach area and playgrounds.
  • Glass-Bottom Semi-Submarine Tour: Underwater sightseeing through glass windows, with four swimming stops.
  • Cleopatra Island Boat Tour: Full-day boat trip with swimming breaks, BBQ lunch, drinks and time at Cleopatra Island’s white-sand beach and ruins.
  • Turkish Bath Experience: Two-hour traditional Turkish bath with a full-body scrub and soap massage.
  • Marmaris Buggy Safari: Guided buggy adventure across rugged terrain and streams.
  • Dalyan River Cruise: Boat tour featuring rock tombs, mud baths, Iztuzu Beach, lunch and swimming.
  • Marmaris Horse Safari: One-hour guided horse safari with professional instructors and safety equipment.
  • Marmaris & İçmeler Go-Karting: Family-friendly go-kart racing; no driver’s license required.
  • Marmaris Turkish Night Show: Evening experience with a Turkish dinner, unlimited drinks, belly dancers and whirling dervishes.
  • Marmaris & İçmeler Jeep Safari: Mountain safari with water fights, a color and foam party, Turgut Waterfalls and İsa Beach.
  • Dalyan Turtle Beach Tour: Guided boat trip along the Dalyan Canal to Delik Island and Iztuzu Beach.
  • Pamukkale Day Tour: Full-day excursion to the famous white thermal terraces of Pamukkale.
  • Hidden Treasures of the Marmaris Peninsula: Private tour of the villages of the Bozburun Peninsula, including pide tasting and lunch.
