X Kadıköy International Performing Arts Festival 2027

Istanbul, Türkiye, offers an inspiring setting where Europe and Asia meet. Bordered by the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara and divided by the famous Bosphorus Strait, the city combines historic landmarks, museums, shopping areas, cultural attractions, and a lively atmosphere.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • Breakfast and dinner.
  • Guide service where applicable.

Not included

  • Optional lunch pack: EUR 20 per person, per day.
  • Airport transfers: round-trip prices are EUR 35 per person for 42 people, EUR 40 per person for 30 people, EUR 45 per person for 20 people, and EUR 50 per person for 10 people.
  • For groups arriving by plane, ground transportation can be arranged for airport transfers, excursions, and performance venues at the group’s separate expense.
  • Groups are responsible for transportation to and from festival venues and excursion locations unless separate arrangements have been made.
  • Fuel costs for group buses.
  • Competition evaluation fees per participant: EUR 60 for soloists, EUR 50 for duets, EUR 40 for trios, and EUR 25 for group performances.
  • Optional guided Istanbul tour: EUR 35 per person, including guide service and transfers.
  • Optional Bosphorus boat tour for interested groups: EUR 35 per person.
  • Special tours and additional trips in Istanbul are not included in the standard festival package.
  • Medical and hospital expenses incurred during the festival period.

Accommodation is in a 3-star hotel, in rooms with 2–3 beds and a private toilet and shower.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 20% of the total participation amount is required to confirm the hotel reservation.
  • An additional day costs EUR 60 per person.
  • For groups of more than 30 people, 1 leader or driver is free of charge.
  • For groups of 45 people or more, 2 leaders or drivers are free of charge.
  • Groups arriving by plane must pay their transportation costs at the beginning of the festival.

Rules, excursions & practical details

Participation

Participants must be aged 8 years or above. Singing ensembles, majorette groups, choirs, folk dance groups, and modern dance groups are welcome.

Groups must submit photos with their application.

Health Insurance

All participating groups must arrange valid medical insurance before arriving at the festival. Ambulance assistance will be provided in emergency situations.

Performance & Stage

  • Each group may present a performance lasting 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
  • Performances may use live or recorded music.

Excursions

The planned sightseeing program explores Istanbul’s historical and cultural attractions, including the historic Byzantine district, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, and Grand Bazaar.

Participants will also have free time for shopping and sightseeing.
