Overview

The festival

The X International Festival “Belcanto Fest – Świąteczne Inspiracje” takes place in Wrocław, Poland, in December 2026.

Known as the city of 100 bridges, Wrocław has a rich heritage shaped by Czech, German and Polish influences. Performances are planned in sacred venues, including St. Vincent and St. James Cathedral.

Organized by V.M. in cooperation with WOFA – World Festival Association.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

Festival Package

  • Accommodation for 2 nights / 3 days.
  • Half Board: breakfast and dinner.
  • Local transport service in Wrocław.
  • One group leader receives complimentary accommodation for every group of 20 or more paying participants.

Not included

  • Transportation to and from Wrocław: participating groups must arrange their own travel.
  • Optional excursions and attractions, which cost extra.
  • Option 1: hostel or 2-star hotel, with 3-, 4- or 5-bed rooms.
  • Option 2: 3-star hotel, with 2-, 3- or 4-bed rooms.

Meals begin with dinner on the arrival day and end with breakfast on the departure day.

Booking & Payment Terms

Accommodation Rates

  • Option 1: EUR 145 per person.
  • Option 2: EUR 205 per person.
  • Additional night: EUR 60–70 per person per night, including Half Board.

Separate Participation Fees

Participation fees are separate from accommodation and are charged for each competition category entered.

  • 5–10 participants: EUR 20 per person.
  • 11–20 participants: EUR 18 per person.
  • 21–35 participants: EUR 16 per person.
  • 36 or more participants: EUR 15 per person.

Advance Payment

A 10% guarantee fee is payable in advance and deducted from the final payment.

Tourist tax is not specified.

Participation

Who Can Apply

  • Academic, folk, professional, mixed, male, female, children’s and church choirs.
  • Vocal-choral ensembles and folk groups.
  • Small groups from 5 participants.
  • Chamber instrumental ensembles, string quartets, wind ensembles and mixed instrumental groups.
  • Experimental formations combining choral singing, percussion, folk music and electronics.

Repertoire

Repertoire must be spiritual, sacred or classical.

Application Requirements

Submit a completed application form, technical requirements and repertoire list in advance. Each group must also bring its national flag.

Responsibility

  • Leaders and parents are responsible for participant safety and conduct.
  • Groups are responsible for any property damage.

Performance & Stage

  • Choirs and vocal groups: maximum 12 minutes, comprising 2–4 works.
  • Instrumental ensembles: maximum 8 minutes.
  • Performances may be a cappella or with live accompaniment.
  • Repertoire using backing tracks requires prior approval.

  • Hydropolis.
  • Sky Tower: panoramic views from the 49th floor.
  • Ostrów Tumski Evening Walk: an evening stroll through the historic gas-lit district.
  • Wrocław Dwarfs Treasure Hunt.

Excursion prices are not provided.
