The festival

Istanbul is a unique city where Europe and Asia meet, bordered by the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara and divided by the famous Bosphorus Strait.

Its historic landmarks, museums, shopping areas, and lively cultural atmosphere provide an inspiring setting for the festival.

    Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul in the afternoon, followed by free time, dinner, and a meeting with group leaders.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 20% of the total amount is required to confirm the hotel reservation.
  • For groups of more than 30 people, one leader or driver is free of charge. For groups of 45 people or more, two leaders or drivers are free of charge.
  • Groups arriving by plane must pay their transportation costs at the beginning of the festival.

Metro, tram, buses, metrobüs, Marmaray and ferries link urban districts.

Practical notes

IST and SAW are on different sides of the city. Allow substantial transfer time and verify airport codes, terminals and interchanges.

Participation

Who Can Participate

Participants must be aged 10 years or above. Singing ensembles, majorette groups, choirs, folk dance groups, and modern dance groups are welcome.

Groups must submit photos with their application.

Health Insurance

All participating groups must arrange valid medical insurance before arriving at the festival. Ambulance assistance will be provided in emergency situations.

Performance & Stage

  • Groups may present performances lasting 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
  • Music may be performed live or played from recorded media.

Excursions

Participants will have the opportunity to explore Istanbul’s historical and cultural attractions on an optional guided tour. Planned sightseeing includes the historic Byzantine district, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, and Grand Bazaar, with free time for shopping and sightseeing.

A special Bosphorus boat trip is also available for groups that wish to participate.
