The festival
The V International Folk Festival “Sicily Fest” takes place from 28 to 30 May 2027 in Palermo, Italy.
Sicily has long been a meeting point between cultures, providing a Mediterranean setting for ensembles to share their music, dances and traditions with one another and the local public.

Participation
The festival welcomes all kinds of folk groups, including:
- Folklore groups
- Folk dance groups
- Traditional music groups
- Flag-waving groups
- Historical parade groups
- Other traditional performing formations
Performance & Stage
- The performance format includes parades and fixed-stage or public performances.
- During parades, groups must perform live with their own instruments.
- For fixed performances, the organizers provide an audio system with CD and USB compatibility and up to 5 microphones.

- Taormina: Explore the “Pearl of Sicily,” known for its historic centre, spectacular coastal views and Greek Theatre.
- Sicilian Ionian Coast: Discover nearby coastal towns, villages and cultural attractions.
