Overview

The festival

The III International Music & Folk Dance Festival “Pearl Sea” takes place from 4 to 8 August 2027 in Bar, Montenegro.

One of Montenegro’s major Adriatic coastal cities, Bar is known for its historic Old Town, Haj Nehaj Fortress, King Nikola’s Castle and Mediterranean atmosphere.

    Meeting with the organizer and receipt of the final programme.

Stay & prices

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • Accommodation according to the selected package.
  • Half Board meals: breakfast and dinner.
  • One complimentary participation for every 24 paying participants.
  • Two double rooms per group without supplement for leaders and drivers.
  • Certificates of participation.
  • An organizer representative available to accompany groups on excursions.

Not included

  • Tourist tax and insurance: EUR 1.50 per person per day, payable additionally after arrival.
  • Double-room surcharge: EUR 8 per person per day, except for the complimentary leader and driver rooms.
  • Single-room supplement: 50%.
  • Optional excursions are paid separately unless stated otherwise.
  • The optional boat cruise costs approximately EUR 25 per person.

Accommodation is available in two categories: basic accommodation in hotels, villas and apartments, and advanced accommodation in 3-star hotels.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • Basic accommodation costs EUR 98 per person for 3 nights or EUR 129 per person for 4 nights.
  • Advanced accommodation costs EUR 129 per person for 3 nights or EUR 169 per person for 4 nights.
  • Additional nights are available upon request.

Rules, excursions & practical details

Participation

  • Open to folk dance groups, modern dance groups, choirs, majorette teams, brass bands and orchestras.
  • No age limit or limit on the number of participants and accompanying persons.
  • Each group should bring its national flag and visibly display its group and country names.
  • Groups are encouraged to bring 12–15 small gifts for exchange.
  • Applications should include a CV, photos and videos.

Visa & Invitations

An official invitation letter is issued after application and advance payment.

Performance & Stage

  • Each group should prepare a programme lasting approximately 10–12 minutes.
  • Performances may use a live orchestra or recorded music via CD / USB.

Excursions

Additional optional excursion possibilities will be offered upon arrival.
