Overview

The festival

The II Majorette & Orchestra Festival “Budva Beatline” takes place in Budva, Montenegro, from 21 to 25 August 2027.

The event celebrates the cultural traditions of different countries through music and performance. Festival performances are organized in the evening, leaving daytime hours available for sightseeing, beach activities and optional excursions.

Saturday 21 August

Arrival & Welcome Reception

  1. Arrival in Budva and hotel check-in.

  2. Dinner at the hotel.

  3. Welcome reception and group leaders’ meeting.

Accommodation packages

Price includes

  • One complimentary place for every 30 paying participants.
  • A souvenir and gift for each group.
  • Certificates of attendance.
  • Refreshments during performances.
  • Festival promotion through press releases, social media, posters and flyers.

Not included

  • Tourist tax and insurance: EUR 1.50 per person per day, charged additionally.
  • Bus parking, paid separately.
  • Transportation to and from Budva: groups must organize their own arrival and departure transportation.
  • Transfers from Tivat Airport or Podgorica Airport to Budva can be arranged for an additional fee.
  • Medical services and related costs must be covered by the participating group.

Accommodation is provided in selected hotels in Budva according to the chosen half-board package, with two meals per day.

Participation

Eligible Groups

  • Open to orchestras, brass bands and majorette teams.
  • Children’s ensembles: at least two-thirds of participants must be 16 or younger.
  • Youth ensembles: at least two-thirds of participants must be 25 or younger.
  • Adult ensembles: at least one-third of participants must be older than 25.
  • Maximum 70 members per group.
  • Maximum 3 groups per country.

Application Materials

  • Submit a short CV in English, approximately 6–7 sentences.
  • Submit 5 group photos.
  • Bring your national flag.

Health Insurance & Responsibility

Personal responsibility and health insurance are required.

Performance & Stage

  • Prepare a performance lasting 10–15 minutes.
  • USB playback or a live orchestra is allowed.
  • Due to the exclusive location in Budva Old Town, a stage is not allowed.
