The festival

I International Music & Dance Festival “Zanzibar Island Fest”

The first edition takes place from 29 October to 4 November 2026 in Zanzibar, Tanzania, bringing together music, dance, culture and international friendship.

Participants stay in Nungwi, known for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and tropical setting. The programme offers cultural performances, interaction with local communities and leisure activities.

Arrival in Zanzibar

    Arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.

    Optional visits to The Rock Restaurant, Blue Lagoon, Starfish Beach and Paje Beach.

Accommodation is provided at Amaan Beach Bungalows 3★ in Nungwi, Zanzibar. Standard accommodation is in double rooms, with a choice of Bed & Breakfast or Half Board.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • Package prices for 5 nights / 6 days are EUR 245 per person with Bed & Breakfast or EUR 329 per person with Half Board.
  • Participation is confirmed after registration and payment of a 50% deposit from the total package amount. The deposit is deducted from the final amount.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure.
  • Additional nights are subject to hotel and flight availability and must be confirmed separately.
  • Depending on flight availability, arrival or departure may take place one day before or after the official programme dates.

Participation

Visa & Invitations

A Tanzanian visa costs USD 50 and is payable upon arrival at the airport.

Each participant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date and contain at least 2 blank pages. A scanned passport information page is required for every participant.

Health Insurance

Mandatory Zanzibar Inbound Travel Insurance costs approximately USD 44 and must be purchased before arrival.

Excursions

The optional excursions and experiences are listed in the day-by-day programme. Detailed prices are provided separately. Reservations should be made at least 15 days before arrival to guarantee availability.
