Destination story
A place with its own rhythm.
Wrocław, on the Oder River, is built across a dozen islands linked by more than a hundred bridges. Its Market Square, lined with colourful townhouses around the Gothic Town Hall, is among the largest in Europe. The historic Cathedral Island, the city's famous little bronze dwarfs and a lively student life give Wrocław a cheerful, creative spirit. It has a strong concert tradition and modern venues such as the National Forum of Music.
