Travel & Logistics

Closest airports

Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) serve the city. Confirm your exact airport and terminal: they are separate airports, not interchangeable terminals. Capital Airport Express serves PEK; Daxing Airport Express connects PKX with Caoqiao. Airport buses and designated taxi or ride-hailing pickup areas provide other options. Check current routes and operating hours before travel.

Train & coach arrival

Beijing has several major railway stations, including Beijing South, Beijing West and Beijing Railway Station. Check the station printed on your ticket and allow time for security and passport checks. Use China Railway 12306 for current services and real-name ticketing. Carry the passport used for your booking. Beijing South connects with Metro Lines 4 and 14.

Ferry & port connections

Beijing is inland; ferry arrival is not a standard way to reach the city.
