The World Festival Association (WOFA) offers membership to various types of groups and organizations involved in the fields of music, folklore, dance, and folk arts. Here are the benefits of becoming a collective member of WOFA:
Discounted Entry Fees:
- Collective members of WOFA receive discounts on the entry fees for festivals associated with WOFA. The specific discount amount may vary depending on the regulations of the festival. To avail of these discounts, members can apply through the official WOFA website.
Recommendations for Affiliated Festivals:
- WOFA members can receive recommendations for participation in affiliated festivals without having to pay an entry fee. In such cases, the Organizing Committee covers the cost of accommodation and meals for the participants. This benefit can be accessed by applying through the official WOFA website.
Discounts for WOFA-Organized Festivals:
- Members of WOFA have the right to receive discounts when participating in festivals organized directly by the WOFA team. The discount amount may range from 6% to 10%, depending on the specific festival.
Online Profile:
- WOFA provides its collective members with the opportunity to have a free profile on the official WOFA website. Members can provide detailed assessments of festivals in which they have participated. They also receive newsletters about festival news and benefit from social media promotions on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.
To become a member of WOFA, you can follow these steps:
Choose the appropriate membership category. For collective members, the annual membership fee is 145 Euro. For individual members and small groups up to a quartet, the annual fee is 65 Euro.
Payment can be made through bank transfer to the bank account specified in the membership application or by credit/debit card.
