Participation Information
With pleasure, we INVITE folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, majorette teams, modern dance groups, and brass bands (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXX International Festival for Dance and Songs “Ohrid Easter Festival,” taking place from April 3 to 6, 2025, in Ohrid, Macedonia.
The festival’s light motive is to present the cultural traditions of different countries and to provide an opportunity for group members to connect, establish friendships, and present their culture through dance and music.
General Rules:
This is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, choral groups, and majorette teams.
Every folklore group, choral group, orchestra, art school, and majorette team is eligible to participate. The festival welcomes folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups, soloists, and performers from other art styles.
Participation is limited to three groups from each country.
Each group should consist of a maximum of 50 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Ensembles should prepare at least two dances, 10-15 minutes each, to be performed with an orchestra or USB.
Performances will occur in the evening, allowing groups to explore the historical parts of the city during the day.
Groups must send a short CV and 2-3 photos.
Participants should bring their country’s flag.
Groups are responsible for their own transport for arrival and departure.
