Participation Info
We are pleased to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, and ballroom dance groups (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXII International Music & Dance Festival “PARALIA FEST,” which will take place from June 26 to June 30, 2025, in Paralia, Katerini, Greece.
The festival aims to present the cultural traditions of different countries and provide an opportunity for group members to come together, establish friendships, and showcase their culture through dance and music. The festival will bring music closer to the people, presenting performances on the streets and squares. Participation is open to folk and choir ensembles, orchestras, and majorettes, regardless of age or gender.
General Rules:
The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances and music.
Participation is open to children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups, soloists, and performers from other art styles.
A maximum of three groups from each country will be allowed.
Each group should consist of no more than 70 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Each ensemble must prepare at least two dances or songs, with a total performance time of 15 minutes each, using an orchestra or USB. Choral groups should prepare a free program lasting about 15 minutes.
Performances will occur in the evening, allowing participants to plan daytime activities, including visits to the historical parts of the city and excursions.
Groups must send a short CV and photos of their ensemble.
Participants should bring a flag representing their country.
Groups are responsible for their own transport for arrival and departure.
