Participation Information
We are pleased to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, ballroom dance groups, and modern dance teams (for children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXI International Music & Folk Dance Festival “Durres Music Fest” from June 17-21, 2024, in Durres, Albania.
The aim of the festival is to present the cultural traditions of different countries and offer participants an opportunity to establish friendships and showcase their culture through dance and music. The festival is non-competitive and open to all folk and choir ensembles, orchestras, and majorettes, regardless of gender and age.
General Rules:
Each group may consist of a maximum of 70 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Each group must prepare at least 2 folk dances, each lasting 10-15 minutes, accompanied by an orchestra or USB. Choral groups should prepare a free program of 15 minutes.
The festival is open to children’s, youth’s, and adult ensembles.
A maximum of 3 groups per country will be accepted.
Groups should send a short CV and 5 photos of the ensemble, along with a flag of their country.
Each group should arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
