Participation Information

With pleasure we INVITE you (Folk ensembles, Choral groups,Brass bands, orchestras, modern dance group, majorette teams), (children, youth and adults groups) to participate on XXII International music & Folk – dance festival “ISTRA FEST ” from 03 – 07 September, PULA – ROVINJ, CROATIA

The Festival light motive is to present the cultural tradition of different countries and to provide an opportunity for the members of groups to get together, to establish friendships and culture presentation trough dance and music.

General Rules:

In the festival can participate folklore groups, vocal groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, art schools, choirs and music bands from all over the world.
Ensemble should have prepared program duration from 12-15 minutes with USB or orchestra.
Groups should take a flag of their country
The number of the groups is limited
Groups have to send us short CV and photos of the group by e-mail.
Twenty days before the festival each group should send the list of participants, name/surname, sex, date of birth and passport number.
All groups should have there own transport for arrival and departure.
Groups arriving by plane the festival committee can arrange their transfers and inform them how much it will cost.

Accommodation Information

Participation fee:

149 euro – 3 HB ( 3 nights with 2 meals per day – open buffet with drinks (non alcoholic and local beеr for dinner)
189 euro – 4 HB ( 4 nights with 2 meals per day – open buffet with drinks (non alcoholic and local beеr for dinner)
- Price include accommodation in 3* Tourist resort Duga Uvala with 2 meals per day in standard rooms ( it has own beach) in triple rooms and quadruple rooms. http://hotel-duga-uvala-krnica.krnica.hotels-istria.net/en/
- For leaders and drivers will be provide 2/2 rooms, additional double rooms are on the request and it is 11 euro per person per day additional paymant
- Groups of 25 persons: One group leader free of charge! (25+1; 48+2)
- If you wish we can arrange accommodation in other hotels with higher categorization and inform you about price.

Festival organizers provide:

for 25 dancers – one free
Certificate for attendance
souvenir and gift for each group
drinks during the performance
Free parking in hotel
open and close swimming pools and own beach
advertising of the festival (press release, social media promotion, posters and flayers)

INSURANCE:

Personal responsibility and health insurance are within the other obligations of the groups. First Aid and Medical Hospital will be available, medical services must be covered by the group.

On your request, You can continue your stay in istra Price will be 47 Euro per day per person HB – price is special for the participants in festivals that we can provide.

Tourist tax and insurance is 2 euro per person per day and it is additional.

– 10:00 – 15:00 Beach time or excursions in Pula.

– 21:00 Meeting with the festival director.

– 10:00 – 18:00 Beach time or excursions in Rovinj.
– 18:00 – 20:00 Dinner at the hotel.
– 21:00 Festival presentation at the hotel.
Day 4
– 07:00 – 10:00 Breakfast.
– 10:00 – 18:00 Beach time or excursions in Rijeka.
– 18:00 – 20:00 Dinner at the hotel.
– 21:00 Festival evening.
Day 5
– 07:00 – 10:00 Breakfast.
– 10:00 – 18:00 Beach time or excursions in Rijeka.
– 18:00 – 20:00 Dinner at the hotel.
– 21:00 Party at the hotel.
Day 6
– 07:00 – 10:00 Breakfast.
– 11:00 Departure.

Excursions Information

Excursions are not included in the participation fee. Information on available excursions can be obtained at the hotel reception. These optional excursions offer a chance to explore the historical and cultural sites in the area.
