Participation Information



The festival aims to present the cultural traditions of various countries and provide an opportunity for participants to come together, establish friendships, and present their cultures through dance and music.
The festival is a non-competitive showcase of traditional and modern dances, folklore ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, modern dance groups, and majorette teams.
Any folklore, choral group, modern dance group, or orchestra is eligible to participate, including children, youth, and adult ensembles.

The number of participants is limited to three groups per country.
Each group may consist of up to 80 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Each group should prepare a performance program of 10-12 minutes, to be presented with an orchestra or via USB.
Participants must send a short CV and 2-3 photos of their group, along with a flag of their country.
Groups should arrange their own transportation for arrival and departure.

Accommodation Information



Festival participants have three accommodation options, all located in central Vienna. The prices cover 3 nights with breakfast included.
Luxury A&T Hostel (Multibed Rooms): 109 EUR per person.
3-Star Hotels (Hotel Astoria, Aparthotel Bianka): 144 EUR per person.
4-Star Event Hotel Pyramide: 166 EUR per person.

Breakfast is served as an open buffet.
Dinner is available at an additional cost: 20 EUR per person (in 3-star hotels) or 25 EUR per person (in 4-star hotels).
Additional costs for single rooms: 15 EUR per person per day; double rooms: 10 EUR per person per day.

Additional days can be booked at the following rates:
4-Star Hotel: 42 EUR per person (BB)
3-Star Hotel: 39 EUR per person (BB)
Hostel: 28 EUR per person (BB)
Please note that the price does not include a tourism tax (from 1 to 2 EUR per day per person) or optional excursions.

Additional Festival Details


For every 22 dancers, one participant can attend for free.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance, a souvenir, and a gift. Drinks will be provided during performances.
The festival will promote the event through press releases, social media, posters, and flyers.
Groups are required to have personal responsibility and health insurance, and medical services will be available during the festival.
After the festival, organizers will provide a link to access photos and videos of the event, with copyright ownership belonging to the festival organizers.

Transportation

For participants traveling by plane, the festival organizers will provide transport from the airport to the hotel and back.
The transport cost will be covered by the group and arranged according to the number of participants. Payment can be made in installments.
By applying to the festival, participants confirm acceptance of all conditions and rules. Detailed information will be provided after confirming participation.

Program Information



27 October – Day 1 After 14:00: Arrival in Vienna and hotel accommodation. Free time for sightseeing. 20:00 – 21:30: Meeting with the festival director at the hostel.

28 October – Day 2
08:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.
10:00 – 15:00: Optional guided tour of Vienna.
Free time (prepare for the festival evening).
18:30 – 21:30: Festival Evening, followed by the closing ceremony with certificates and gifts for the groups.

29 October – Day 3
08:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.
10:00 – 17:00: Free time for visiting or shopping, with an optional medieval castle visit.
21:00: Free time in Vienna (restaurants or clubs optional).

30 October – Day 4
09:00: Breakfast.
11:00: Departure of participants.

Excursions Information



Festival participants can enjoy various optional excursions during their stay in Vienna.
Guided Tour of Vienna (Optional): A professional local guide will lead a tour of the city on 28 October, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Visit to a Medieval Castle (Optional): Participants can enjoy a visit to a nearby medieval castle on 29 October from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The city offers rich cultural experiences, with plenty of free time for sightseeing, shopping, or visiting Vienna’s famous attractions such as the Hofburg Palace, Schönbrunn Palace, MuseumsQuartier, and more.
