Participation Info
We are pleased to invite folk groups, modern dance ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, and majorette teams (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the XXXV International Music & Folk-Dance Festival “Prague FEST,” taking place from November 7 to 10.
The festival aims to celebrate and showcase the cultural traditions of various countries and foster connections and friendships among participants through dance and music.
Non-competitive performances of traditional and modern dances, choral music, and orchestral presentations are included.
Folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from all over the world are eligible.
Interested groups must submit a completed and signed Application Form, which signifies acceptance of the festival’s terms and regulations.
Participation is limited to three groups per country.
Ensembles should prepare at least two performances, each 10-15 minutes, using either USB-stored music or a live orchestra.
Evening performances will allow participants to explore Prague’s historical sites during the day.
Submission requirements include a short group CV, 2-3 photos, and a list of participants (with name, surname, gender, date of birth, and passport number) by April 10, 2019.
Groups must bring their own national flags and arrange for transportation to and from the festival.
Note: All ensembles must bring their own music (USB or orchestra). Performances should last between 5-15 minutes. Seats are limited, so early application is recommended.
