Participation Information

  • Eligibility: All folklore groups, choral groups, modern dance groups, majorette teams, orchestras, and brass bands are eligible to participate. Groups can consist of children, youth, and adults.
  • Performance Requirements: Each ensemble should prepare at least two dances, each lasting 10-15 minutes. Performances will take place in the evening hours, allowing time for daytime activities.
  • Group Composition: Each group may consist of a maximum of 60 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members
  • Limit on Participation: There is a limit of three groups from each country.
  • Application Materials: Interested groups should submit a short CV and 2-3 photos of the group. Additionally, participants are requested to bring their national flag.

Transportation: Groups should arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.

Accommodation Information

Participation Fees:

  • 114 EUR per person for 3 nights with half-board (2 meals per day).
  • 155 EUR per person for 4 nights with half-board (2 meals per day).

Additional charges:

10 EUR per person per day for a double room supplement.

Tourist tax and insurance (1.50 EUR per person per day) to be paid additionally upon arrival at the hotel.

  • Each group will be allocated 2/2 rooms for group leaders and drivers, with additional rooms available at 10 EUR per day.
  • The festival organizers will offer a special rate of 35 EUR per day per person for participants who wish to extend their stay after the festival.

Additional Benefits for Participants

For every 25 dancers, one participant can join for free.

  • Souvenirs and gifts for each group.
  • Welcome cocktail.
  • Certificates of attendance.
  • Drinks during performances.
  • Promotion of the festival through press releases, social media, posters, and flyers.

Insurance:

  • Participants are responsible for their personal responsibility and health insurance. First Aid and medical services will be available, but groups must cover their medical costs.

After the festival, organizers will provide links for photos and videos from the event.

Transportation

  • Organizers will arrange transport for groups arriving by plane from Tivat Airport during the festival days. Costs will be covered by the groups and agreed upon based on the number of participants.

Program Information

 

Day 1: Arrival

13:00 – Arrival in Budva, hotel accommodation, and free time for swimming and sunbathing.
19:00 – Dinner in hotel.
21:00 – Free time.

Day 2: Exploration

08:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – 14:00 – Budva sightseeing with local guide and boat cruise to St. Stefan (14 Euro per person).
17:30 – 19:00 – Dinner in hotel.
21:00 – Welcome reception with group leaders.

Day 3: Festival Events

08:00 – 09:00 – Breakfast.
09:00 – 18:00 – Free time or optional boat trip from Budva to Tivat, Kotor, Herceg Novi (25 Euro per person).
17:00 – 18:30 – Dinner in hotel.
19:00 – 23:00 – Ensembles parade and festival evening in the square (certificates and presents).

Day 4: Leisure Activities

08:00 – 10:00 – Breakfast.
10:00 – 18:00 – Free time or optional boat trip or Aqua park visit (10 Euro per person).
19:00 – 21:00 – Dinner.
21:00 – 00:00 – Party in the discotheque (optional).

Day 5: Departure

09:00 – Breakfast.
11:00 – Departure of participants.
