We are pleased to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, ballroom dance teams, art schools, music theatres, modern dance teams, orchestras, and majorette teams (children and youth groups) to participate in the XI International Music & Folk-Dance Festival “Mundo em Dança” from April 04 to 13, 2025 in Espumoso, RS, Brazil.
The Mundo em Dança Folk Festival, hosted by GruPesquisa e AnDanças Sepé Tiaraju, is a vibrant celebration of folkloric traditions, including dance performances, music concerts, workshops, parades, official visits, cultural exchanges, and tours. The festival will take place across Espumoso and surrounding towns, with a focus on promoting cultural diversity through dance and music from both Brazilian states and international groups.
Only selected folklore and similar groups, after the registration period, will be allowed to participate in the festival.
Each group must feature live music. Groups that use playback music will be allowed a maximum of 17 participants (including directors, musicians, dancers, and support staff). The registration fee for these groups is 15 Euros per participant.
Groups with live music may have up to 25 participants.
Additional participants beyond the limits will incur a charge of US$ 130 per person.

The festival provides accommodation for up to 25 participants per selected group (excluding Espumoso residents). Accommodations may be in dormitories or shared facilities.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided during the event at predetermined times.
Transportation will be provided from Salgado Filho Airport in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, to the accommodation and back, as well as transfers to all festival activities.
Arrival & Departure: Groups must arrive in Espumoso by APRIL 4, 2024, and depart on APRIL 13, 2024, by noon. The festival is not responsible for any group that does not comply with the established arrival and departure times.
Health Insurance: It is strongly recommended that all participants have health insurance as the festival is not responsible for medical expenses, including doctor visits, surgeries, or medication.
Festival Infrastructure: The festival will provide all necessary technical infrastructure for performances, including lighting, sound systems, and dressing rooms.
Throughout the event, all guest groups will have the opportunity to participate in guided tours to local attractions. These tours will be organized to give groups the chance to experience the cultural and scenic offerings of Espumoso and surrounding towns.
Each group will be accompanied by a guide or interpreter who will assist with translations during the entire stay, from arrival to departure.
