Korat International Festival 2025 Invitation
1. Participation Information
We warmly invite folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, majorette teams, vocal groups, art schools, and performers (children, youth, and adult groups) to join the Korat International Festival, from 8-13 February 2025, in Bangkok and Korat, Thailand.
Thailand’s culture soft power policy creates the perfect setting for showcasing traditional or modern dance and music performances in a non-competitive environment. Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant capital city, is known for its ornate shrines, vibrant street life, and the Chao Phraya River that flows past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to the opulent Grand Palace and sacred Wat Phra Temple.
General Rules:
– Open to all traditional and modern dance groups, brass bands, orchestras, choral groups, majorette teams, instrumental groups, soloists, and other art performers.
– Participation is limited to 3 groups per country.
– Groups should have no more than 40 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
– Performance requirements:
– Ensembles: 15-minute live or USB-supported program.
– Choral groups and orchestras: 12-minute free program.
– Performances will take place in the evening, allowing free time during the day for sightseeing and excursions.
– Participants must submit:
– A brief CV (5-6 sentences in English).
– Three group photos.
– A video performance link.
– Participants are required to bring their country’s flag.
– Groups must arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
