Participation Information



Eligibility: The festival welcomes folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from around the world.

Performance Requirements: Each ensemble must prepare a minimum of two dances, each lasting 8-15 minutes, which can be presented using a USB or a live orchestra.

Cultural Representation: Folklore groups are expected to bring their national flag and a few gifts for municipal visits.

Application Process: Groups interested in participating must complete and submit an application form. Submission of the filled and signed application implies agreement with the festival regulations.

Documentation: Groups are required to send a brief CV and a minimum of three photos via email. By April 1, 2024, a list of participants (including names, surnames, genders, dates of birth, and passport numbers) must be provided.

Transportation: Folklore groups are responsible for their own transportation to and from the festival.

Accommodation Information



Accommodation Options:


  • 60 Euros: 4 nights with half board (2 meals per day).

  • 75 Euros: 5 nights with half board (2 meals per day).


This covers dormitory accommodation (leaders and drivers provided with 2 double rooms; other participants will stay in triple and quadruple rooms).

Additional Stays: Extra days can be reserved at a rate of 15 euros per person per day.


Complimentary Participation: For groups of 25 persons, one group leader is entitled to complimentary participation (24 paying + 1 free).


What the Fee Covers:


  • Participation in festival concerts.

  • Professional sound, stage, and light equipment.

  • Accommodation in 2* or 3* hotels (3-4 bedded rooms; additional costs for double and single rooms apply).

  • Half-board hotel accommodation.

  • A souvenir and gift for each group.

  • A certificate of attendance.



Exclusions:


  • Transportation for arrival and departure.

  • Optional tour programs.

  • Insurance.

  • Any items not explicitly stated in the “Fee Covers” section.

Program Information



30 July 2024:

14:00: Arrival in Milas, hotel accommodation after meeting with festival representatives and free time.

18:30 – 19:30: Dinner at the hotel.

20:30: Meeting with the director and choreographer.


31 July 2024:

07:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

10:00 – 16:00: Free time.

18:30 – 19:30: Dinner.

20:00 – 20:30: Official opening of the festival with an “Ensemble Parade” and welcome speech.

21:00: Performance (10-15 minutes).


1 August 2024:

07:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

10:00 – 16:00: Free time.

18:30 – 19:30: Dinner.

20:30: Performance (10-15 minutes).


2 August 2024:

07:00 – 09:00: Breakfast.

10:00 – 18:00: Free time.

18:30 – 19:30: Dinner.

20:30: Performance (10-15 minutes).


3 August 2024:

07:00 – 09:00: Breakfast.

10:00 – 18:00: Free time.

18:30 – 19:30: Dinner.

20:30: Performance (10-15 minutes).


4 August 2024:

07:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

12:00: Departure.

Excursions Information



Optional tour programs are available for those who wish to explore the local area and culture beyond the festival activities. Details about these excursions can be provided upon request.
