Participation Information



We are pleased to INVITE folk ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, brass bands, majorette teams, vocal groups, art schools, and other performers (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the International Music & Dance Festival “Magical Dubai”.
The festival is a non-competitive event featuring traditional and modern dances, brass bands, orchestras, modern dance groups, choral groups, majorette teams, instrumental groups, and soloists, as well as performers from other art styles.
Each group can have a maximum of 50 members (including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members).
Every group should prepare a program of 12-15 minutes (live or on USB).
Choral groups should prepare a free program lasting 12 minutes.
The performances will take place in the evening, allowing participants to explore the city during the day.
Groups should send a short CV (5-6 sentences in English), 3 photos of the group, and a link to a video of their performance.
Each group should bring their country flag.
Groups are responsible for their own transport for arrival and departure.
Note: If your flight ticket allows arrival a day before or after the festival dates, we can accommodate this with prior notification and provide the necessary permit.

Accommodation Information:


Accommodation will be provided in a luxury 4* hotel, MD Hotel Al Barsha, located in Dubai. Rooms are available in triple rooms, with the option to upgrade to double rooms (additional €18 per person per night) or single rooms (€30 per person per night).

Breakfast: Buffet-style breakfast included for all participants.

Participation Fees:
4 BB (4 nights/5 days) – €179 per person
5 BB (5 nights/6 days) – €229 per person

Optional Dinner: Available for an additional €20 per person at the hotel.

Additional Costs:
Tourist Tax: €2.5 per person per day
Government Property Tax: €4 per room per day, payable at reception.

For participants wishing to extend their stay, a special rate of €49 per person (BB) is available for additional nights in a 4* hotel (triple rooms).

Insurance:
Participants are responsible for their personal and health insurance. The festival organizers provide first aid and medical services as needed, but any medical expenses must be covered by the group.

Flights:
Wizz Air offers direct flights from Budapest to Dubai International Airport, and also from other European cities to Abu Dhabi. Transfer options from Abu Dhabi to Dubai are available for €32 per person.

Program Information:



Day 1:
13:00: Arrival in Dubai, hotel check-in, and free time (beach time).
21:00: Meeting with representatives.

Day 2:
09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.
10:00 – 18:00: Sightseeing tour of Dubai (optional).
21:00: Free time in Dubai.

Day 3:
09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.
10:30 – 16:00: Visit to Butterfly Garden or Miracle Garden (optional) or beach time.
18:00 – 21:00: Festival Evening (10-12 minute performances for each group).

Day 4:
09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.
10:30 – 17:00: Desert Safari (optional) or visit Dubai Mall with fountains.
18:00: Integration day (workshops and dance lessons with other groups).

Day 5:
09:00 – 11:00: Breakfast.
10:30 – 18:00: Visit to the traditional market in Greek Dubai, or visit the Eye of Dubai and Madame Tussaud’s museum, or Dubai Frame.
21:00: Free time (visit Dubai Marina).

Day 6:
09:00 – 11:00: Breakfast.
10:00: Departure.

Optional Extension (if staying more days):

Day 6:
09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.
10:00 – 18:00: Free time (Beach time or excursions to Abu Dhabi).
21:00 – 00:00: Free time at the music fountains.

Day 7:
09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.
10:00 – 18:00: Free time (Beach time or excursions to Sharjah).
21:00 – 00:00: Free time at the music fountains.

Day 8:
08:00 – 09:00: Breakfast.
10:00: Departure.

Excursions Information



The festival organizers offer the following optional excursions and activities:
1. Transfer Dubai airport – Hotel Dubai – Dubai airport (round trip)
2. Transfer Abu Dhabi Airport – Hotel in Dubai – Abu Dhabi Airport (round trip)
3. Dubai City Tour (half-day) – includes Medinat Jumeirah market, little Venice, and old Dubai (guide + transfer + ticket)
4. Burch Khalifa Level 124/125 (tickets and transfers)
5. Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner and Drinks (from 14:30, with jeep ride, dinner, and show)
6. Abu Dhabi Tour (full day with lunch) – visit the famous mosque and sightseeing (11:00 – 18:00)
7. Dinner Cruise at Dubai Marina (20:00 – 22:00, including bus transfer, boat cruising, and dinner)
8. Miracle Garden & Dubai Frame (tickets and transfers)
9. Butterfly Garden & Global Village (tickets and transfers)
