Participation Information
The festival is open to a wide range of performers, including children, youth, veterans, or mixed folk ensembles, dance groups, majorettes, groups of singers, choirs, and orchestras. Participants from Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, and other countries are encouraged to join.
The festival will be held over three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Groups may perform on all three days or by agreement, but attendance is required on the final night (Sunday). Performers must prepare at least one choreography, which can be performed on any evening of the festival. While it is recommended to prepare different choreographies for each night, it is not mandatory. Musical accompaniment is desirable but not required; performances can be accompanied by a USB. On the final night of the festival, there will be a parade and the selection of the best male and female folk costumes, Miss and Mister of the festival, and the best dance performance.
