Participation Information
The festival is open to soloists, small groups, ensembles, and chamber formations, with performances across diverse genres:
Choreography: Folk dance, folk-stylized dance, classical, contemporary, jazz, artistic, street, ballroom, show, children’s dance, and show-bellydance.
Vocal (two competition performances required): Show Vocal, Folk Vocal, Folk Ensembles, Academic Vocal, Jazz Vocal, Choirs.
Instrumental (two contrasting pieces required): Wind, Folk, String, and Plucked Instruments (soloists, small groups of 2-4 people), Piano (soloists, duets), and Orchestras.
Folk Creativity/Ritual Theaters, Theatrical Arts, Acting Skills, Fashion Shows, and Mixed Genres.
Performance Times:
Soloists, duets, trios: 4 minutes. Small groups (4-10 participants): 6 minutes. Ensembles/groups (11+ participants): 9 minutes. Age Divisions:
Mini Kids: 4-7 years Kids: 7-9 years Children: 10-13 years Junior: 14-17 years Adults: 18+ years Senior: 50+ years Mixed groups: Up to 30% of senior-aged participants allowed within the junior category.
Participants may compete in multiple genre categories with separate applications and fees per category. The festival is of a competitive nature.
Awards & Recognition
Prizes include individual diplomas, festival medals, and cups for groups. First, second, and third prizes are awarded to laureates, with the Grand Prix winners receiving the Great Grand Prix cup. Special recognition includes certificates for free future festival participation, letters of gratitude to teachers, and commemorative festival merchandise for all participants.
