Participation Information:


The International Festival and Competition “Winter Inspiration” will take place at Kino Sokół in Zakopane (stage 13×7), centrally located near Krupówki street in the Zakopane resort. The festival aims to promote cultural exchange among amateur and professional teams from around the world.

Genres:

Choreography: folk or stylized dance, classical, contemporary/modern, jazz, artistic, street dance, ballroom, performance dance, children’s dance, show-bellydance, and other dance directions.
Vocal, instrumental, vocal-instrumental, and choral groups.
Folklore ensembles, ritual theaters, folk art groups.
Theatrical art groups, acting skills, and fashion theaters.
Other genres as per application.
Competition Format:

The festival is competitive. Participants can submit multiple applications in different categories with separate fees for each.
Performance time is limited: soloists/duets/trios – 4 minutes, small groups (4-10 participants) – 6 minutes, ensembles/groups (11 or more participants) – 9 minutes.
Age Groups:

Mini kids: 4-6 years old
Kids: 7-9 years old
Children: 10-13 years old
Junior: 14-17 years old
Adults: 18 years old and above
Senior: 50 years old and above
Mixed groups
Awards:

Grand Prix – Diamond Champion (large cup, medals, Grand Prix Diploma).
Small Grand Prix (cup, medals, Diploma).
I, II, III, IV prizes (individual diplomas, medals, cup for the group).
“Participant” and “Debut” diplomas for groups receiving a score below 4th place.
Evaluation Criteria:

Vocalists: Vocal technique, interpretation, repertoire selection, and overall presentation.
Instrumentalists: Playing technique, interpretation, repertoire, and overall presentation.
Dance groups: Dance technique, choreography, interpretation, and overall artistic impression.
Dance soloists: Dance technique, interpretation, choreography, and overall artistic presentation.

Accommodation Information:


The festival offers accommodation in Zakopane for participating groups with the following details:

Accommodation Fee:

3-4 person rooms: 150 EUR per person for 3 days / 2 nights (half-board).
20+1 free offer for groups of 20 participants (1 leader free).
Leaders are accommodated in 2-3 person rooms.
Meals:

Breakfast and dinner included, starting with dinner on the day of arrival and ending with breakfast on the day of departure.
Additional Accommodation Services:

On request, additional paid services such as transportation from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the concert hall, welcome services, and hotel upgrades can be arranged.
Accommodation arrangements should be made with leaders before the participants’ arrival.
Not Included in the Fee:

Festival participation fee, optional excursions, museum tickets, personal expenses, and local transportation.

Program Information:


January 12, 2026:

Arrival at hotels in Zakopane. City tour with a guide through the main street of Zakopane and the Tatra Mountain views. Dinner.
January 13, 2026 – Competition Day:

Breakfast followed by stage rehearsals and sound checks.
Opening ceremony, competitive performance reviews.
Evening – Formal Closing Ceremony and Awarding of participants. Return to the hotel for dinner.
January 14, 2026:

Breakfast and check-out. Free day for relaxation and excursions. Options include visiting Kasprowy Wierch, Morskie Oko, or local thermal pools.
Optional Activities:

Ascent to Kasprowy Wierch, Aquapark or Thermal Pools, Morskie Oko excursion.

Zakopane offers many exciting excursions for participants to explore the local beauty and culture:

City Tour:

Guided tour through Zakopane’s characteristic locations, including Krupówki street, wooden-clad restaurants, cafes, galleries, and the breathtaking panorama of the Tatra Mountains.
Optional Activities:

Ascent to Kasprowy Wierch or Gubałówka to enjoy panoramic views of the Carpathians.
Visit to the Aquapark or Thermal Pools in Zakopane.
Excursion to Morskie Oko, one of Poland’s largest and deepest mountain lakes.
Cultural Events:

Joint events like the opening ceremony, closing ceremony, parade, concerts, workshops, and more will be organized for participating groups. Presence at these events is mandatory.
