Participation Information



The International Choir Festival “Chernomorski Zvutsi” welcomes non-professional choirs from Bulgaria and abroad, celebrating music, culture, and camaraderie. The festival offers a unique platform for musical expression and cultural exchange, with a prize fund of 2,000 EUR.
Eligibility:

Open to all types of choirs: mixed, chamber, male, female, youth, children, and folk choirs.
No age limit for participants.
Requirements:

Participation in festival workshops.
Concert program details:
15–20 minutes performance, including:
A piece representing the choir’s national music culture.
One Bulgarian composition.
10-minute performance for additional concerts.
One piece for the gala concert.
Application submission must include:
A brief bio of the choir and conductor.
An advertising photo of the choir and conductor.
Performance links or recordings.
Tentative program and scanned scores (for competition).
Fees:

Participation Fee: 15 EUR (30 BGN) per person (non-refundable).
10% discount for applications submitted and fees paid by 31 December 2024.
Payment via UniCredit Bulbank ().
Awards:

Grand Prix: Gold-plated statuette “Chernomorski Zvutsi” and cash prize.
Special awards for mixed, children’s, and uniform choirs.
Children’s Award: Diploma “Future of Europe” with a cash prize.
Groups arranging independent accommodation must pay a 4x higher participation fee. The festival reserves all rights to performances and media content for promotional purposes.

Accommodation Information



Participants can choose from 3-star and 4-star hotel packages, with meal plans to suit various needs. Additional nights are available at the same rate, and lunch or dinner can be arranged at an extra cost.

Bed and Breakfast: 140 EUR
Half Board (Breakfast + Dinner): 180 EUR
Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner): 220 EUR
4-Star Hotel Packages:
Bed and Breakfast: 190 EUR
Half Board (Breakfast + Dinner): 230 EUR
Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner): 270 EUR
Children’s Groups (up to 16 years):

91 EUR for 4 nights Bed and Breakfast (2–4 bed rooms).
Adults in children’s groups: 91–120 EUR depending on hotel category.

3-Star Villa Village (Resort Area): 90 EUR
3-Star Hotel (Seacoast): 126 EUR
3-Star Hotel (Coastal Street): 143 EUR
4-Star Hotel (Resort Area): 133 EUR

Day 1 – Wednesday, 04 June 202514:00: Check-in and Registration. – 19:00: Opening Ceremony and First Festival Concert (Palace Nimpfeum Stage). – 20:30: Cocktail Party for conductors and jury (Regina Maria Restaurant).
Day 2 – Thursday, 05 June 2025

10:30–12:30: Workshops (Community Centre “Paisii Hilendarski-1870”).
16:30–20:00: Second and Third Festival Concerts (Mill Tourist Information Centre).
Day 3 – Friday, 06 June 2025

10:30–12:30: Workshops.
16:30–21:00: Fourth and Fifth Festival Concerts (Mill Tourist Information Centre).
Day 4 – Saturday, 07 June 2025

11:00: “Friends with a Song” Concert (Palace Nimpfeum Stage).
18:00: Gala Concert (21st September Square).
20:30: Dinner and Party for all participants.
Day 5 – Sunday, 08 June 2025

12:00: Check-out and Departure.

Excursions Information



Participants will have access to explore local cultural landmarks as part of the festival experience. These include: – Botanical Garden and Palace of Queen Marie. – Art Gallery, Ethnographic House, and Historical Museum.
Workshops and performances will take place in scenic locations such as:

Palace Nimpfeum Stage.
Mill Tourist Information Centre.
