Participation Information
Welcome to Delhi, the City of Djinns! Delhi, the capital territory of India, is the largest commercial hub in northern India. Known for its cultural diversity and historical richness, the city boasts 1200 heritage buildings and 175 national heritage monuments, including three UNESCO World Heritage Sites – the Red Fort, Qutab Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb. Participants will experience the grandeur of Delhi’s festivals, architecture, and vibrant traditions. Participation Categories:
Festival Participant (Mandatory) Open to all dance and music groups of any style: Folk, Theatres, Classical, Contemporary, Latin, Ballroom, Street, Modern, Oriental, Fusion Dances, Choirs, Brass Bands, Orchestras, and Majorettes.
Age Range: 7 to 70+ years
Group Size: 4+ to unlimited members
Performances: Four dance items (10-15 minutes each) 1-2 times a day.
Music: Live or recorded music permitted.
Festival Competitor (Optional)
Available only to Festival Participants.
Minimum Group Size: 10 members
Performance: One 5-minute dance item
Additional Fee: €100 per group
