Participation Info



Participants:

Soloists, small groups, ensembles/chamber formations, and majorettes are invited.
Genres:

Choreography: Folk dance, classical, contemporary/modern, jazz, artistic, street dance, ballroom dance, show dance, children’s dance, show-bellydance.
Folk ensembles, ritual theaters, and folk art ensembles.
Theatrical arts and acting skills.
Fashion theaters/fashion shows.
Choral groups, vocal and choral ensembles.
Instrumental groups (brass, chamber, string, folk instruments, etc.).
Vocal-instrumental ensembles.

Technical Requirements:

Competitive program time limits:
Soloists, duets, trios: 4 minutes.
Small groups (4-10 individuals): 6 minutes.
Ensembles and groups (11 or more individuals): 9 minutes.

Age Groups:

Mini Kids: 7-9 years old
Children: 10-13 years old
Junior: 14-17 years old
Adults: 18 years and above
Seniors: 50 years and above
Mixed Groups

Application Submission: To participate, submit an application along with a quality backing track to the Organizer’s email. Performances exceeding the allotted time may be stopped at the Organizer’s discretion.

Awards:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes: Individual diplomas, festival medals, and a cup for the group.
Small Grand Prix: Cup, festival medals, and a diploma.
Grand Prix: Great Grand Prix cup, festival medals, and Grand Prix diploma.
Letters of gratitude for teachers and leaders, and certificates for free participation based on jury recommendations.
All participants receive commemorative festival merchandise, badges, diplomas, and medals.

Participation Fees:

Accommodation (4 days/3 nights with half-board):
135 Euro per person – Hostel (4-6-8 bed rooms; additional night: 25 Euro)
150 Euro per person – 1*-2* Hotel (3-4 bed rooms; additional night: 35 Euro)
180 Euro per person – 3* Hotel (2-3-4 bed rooms; additional night: 42 Euro)

Additional Fees:

Groups (11 or more participants): 15 Euros per participant.
Groups (4-10 participants): 20 Euros per participant.
Duets and trios: 25 Euros per participant.
Soloists: 30 Euros per participant.

Additional Category Fees:

Groups (11+ participants): Additional 5 Euros per participant for each extra application.
Groups (4-10 participants): Additional 10 Euros per participant for each extra application.
Soloists, duets, and trios: Additional 15 Euros per participant for each extra application.

Included in Participation Fee:

Accommodation for 4 days/3 nights.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner, starting with dinner on arrival and ending with breakfast on departure.
Participation in festival performances with commemorative awards.

Not Included in Participation Fee:

Festival participation fee.
Optional excursions and museum tickets.
Personal expenses.
Transportation services.
City tour of Krakow for groups of 25 or more (without a bus).

Accommodation Info



Accommodation is arranged for leaders prior to participants’ arrival, with leaders placed in 2-3 bed rooms. The types of meals provided are currently being clarified.

Program Info



Festival Schedule:

May 10, 2024: Arrival at hotels/hostels in Krakow. Dinner.
May 11, 2024: Breakfast followed by a city tour of Krakow. Optional excursion to Wieliczka Salt Mines. Dinner.
May 12, 2024: Breakfast, followed by festival day with stage rehearsal, sound checks, competition performances, and a festive closing ceremony with awards. Dinner.
May 13, 2024: Breakfast, check-out according to hotel/hostel rules, and a free day in Krakow before departure.

Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted no later than April 15, 2024. Payment should be made after participation confirmation but no later than April 25, 2024. All banking expenses are the responsibility of the sender.

Payment Details:

Banking details will be provided upon request from the team leader after receiving the participation application.
Optional Excursions:

City Tour:
A guided tour exploring Krakow’s royal history, visiting key sites such as the Royal Palace, Wawel Hill, Old Town, Cloth Hall, and Rynek Square. Included in festival fees.

Wieliczka Salt Mines:
Approximately 4-5 hours long, providing a fairy-tale journey through salt corridors (prices: children from 30 Euros, adults from 35 Euros).

Zakopane Excursion:
Full-day trip to the resort town in the Tatra Mountains, featuring regional food and activities (prices to be confirmed based on the chosen program).

Krakow Water Park:
Visit to Park Wodny (starting from 10 Euros per ticket).

ENERGYLANDIA Amusement Park:
Located 50 km from Krakow, the largest amusement park in Poland (ticket prices starting from 52 Euros, including transportation).
