The 5th Edition of the Costa Barcelona International Folk Festival welcomes Folk Groups, Flag-waving Groups, and Bagpipe Bands to participate in this vibrant cultural event. The festival is organized by Malgrat Municipality in collaboration with EuroArt Productions SRL and Leon Promotions.
This is a non-competitive festival featuring parades and performances in parks and main squares of Malgrat de Mar. Participants will enjoy the warm Mediterranean weather, beautiful beaches, and the town’s rich cultural heritage.
The festival provides an audio system for standstill performances, supporting CD/pen drive compatibility and up to five microphones for instrument and voice amplification.
All groups will stay in 4-star hotels in Malgrat de Mar, with full board meals (buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

– Morning: Performances at Plaza J.A. Clavé.
– Afternoon: Free time or optional excursion to Barcelona, Girona, Tossa de Mar, etc.
Saturday, 11th October 2025
– Morning: Free time or optional excursion.
– Afternoon: Final parade and performances by all groups.
– Award ceremony by the Festival Organisation and Local Authorities.
Sunday, 12th October 2025
– Departure of groups.

– The programme is subject to modifications for organizational purposes.
– The final schedule will be issued 10 days before the festival.
– Registration deadline: 10 August 2025.
– Full payment deadline: 8 September 2025.
– A 30% deposit is required upon confirmation (non-refundable).
– Cancellations: Refunds are only possible up to 10 days before the festival.
