The International Choir Festival “Chernomorski Zvutsi” welcomes non-professional choirs from Bulgaria and abroad, celebrating music, culture, and camaraderie. The festival offers a unique platform for musical expression and cultural exchange, with a prize fund of 2,000 EUR.
Eligibility:
Open to all types of choirs: mixed, chamber, male, female, youth, children, and folk choirs.
No age limit for participants.
Requirements:
Participation in festival workshops.
Concert program details:
15–20 minutes performance, including:
A piece representing the choir’s national music culture.
One Bulgarian composition.
10-minute performance for additional concerts.
One piece for the gala concert.
Application submission must include:
A brief bio of the choir and conductor.
An advertising photo of the choir and conductor.
Performance links or recordings.
Tentative program and scanned scores (for competition).
Fees:
Participation Fee: 15 EUR (30 BGN) per person (non-refundable).
10% discount for applications submitted and fees paid by 31 December 2024.

Awards:
Grand Prix: Gold-plated statuette “Chernomorski Zvutsi” and cash prize.
Special awards for mixed, children’s, and uniform choirs.
Children’s Award: Diploma “Future of Europe” with a cash prize.
Groups arranging independent accommodation must pay a 4x higher participation fee. The festival reserves all rights to performances and media content for promotional purposes.
Participants can choose from 3-star and 4-star hotel packages, with meal plans to suit various needs. Additional nights are available at the same rate, and lunch or dinner can be arranged at an extra cost.

Participants will have access to explore local cultural landmarks as part of the festival experience. These include: – Botanical Garden and Palace of Queen Marie. – Art Gallery, Ethnographic House, and Historical Museum.
