Participation Information

We are delighted to invite Folk and Choral groups, orchestras, majorette teams, modern dance groups, and ensembles of children, youth, and adults to participate in the International Folk Dance and Music Festival “Bosphorus Festival Days” held from 04–07 December 2025 in Istanbul, Turkey.

This festival offers a unique opportunity for groups from different countries to showcase their culture and heritage through dances, music, and vibrant national costumes.

Eligibility and Rules:
– Open to folklore groups, orchestras, majorette teams, modern dance groups, choirs, and music bands from around the world.
– Non-competitive performances of traditional and modern dances, music, and ensembles.
– Groups should prepare at least two performances, each lasting 12–15 minutes, with music provided on a USB or performed live by an orchestra.
– Participants must bring their country’s flag and at least five gifts for municipal visits and organizers.
– Submission of an application form, a short CV, six group photos, and a list of participants (including full name, sex, date of birth, and passport number) is required.
– Limited to three groups per country.
– Participants are responsible for their transport to and from Istanbul.
