Participation Information



The International Festival and Competition “Wroclaw Art Inspirations Festival” will take place in the historic Polish city of Wrocław, renowned for its 112 bridges, 5 rivers, 12 islands, and over 400 dwarves, which have recently become the city’s symbol. The festival aims to support, disseminate, and create an international platform for cultural exchange, welcoming both amateur and professional groups. Participants include soloists, small formations, ensembles, choirs, orchestras, and various artistic groups, with performances spanning multiple genres, such as folk dance, classical, jazz, contemporary dance, theatrical arts, and more.

Genres:



Choreography: folk dance, classical, contemporary/modern, jazz, artistic, street dance, ballroom dance, pop dance, children’s dance, show programs, belly dance
Folklore ensembles, ritual theaters, folk art ensembles
Vocal, instrumental, vocal-instrumental, choral groups
Theatrical arts, acting, fashion shows, and other genres by accepted application

Competitive Program Requirements:



Soloists, duets, trios: 4 minutes
Small forms (4-10 participants): 6 minutes
Ensembles and groups (11 or more participants): 9 minutes

Age Groups:



Mini Kids (4-6 years old)
Kids (7-9 years old)
Children (10-13 years old)
Junior (14-17 years old)
Adults (18 years old and above)
Senior (50 years and above)
Mixed groups (up to 30% older participants in younger categories)

Application Fees:



Groups (11+ participants): 15 Euro per participant
Groups (4-10 participants): 18 Euro per participant
Duets and trios: 25 Euro per participant
Soloists: 30 Euro per participant
For participation in additional nominations, a surcharge applies.

Awards:



1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize laureates receive diplomas, festival medals, and a group cup.
The winner of the Small Grand Prix receives a cup, festival medals, and a diploma.
The Grand Prix winner receives a large Grand Prix cup, festival medals, and a diploma.

Accommodation Information



Accommodation is available in Wrocław based on the selected option (hostel/hotel). The price includes 4 days and 3 nights with half-board (breakfast and dinner).

Accommodation Options:



Hostel/Hotel 2 (3-5 persons per room):* 158 Euro per person
Hotel 3 (2-4 persons per room):* 178 Euro per person
Additional Night: 45 Euro (type of nutrition to be confirmed).

Special Offer: Groups of 20+ persons will receive a free spot for one leader (20+1 free).

Inclusions:



Accommodation for 4 days / 3 nights.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner, starting with dinner on the arrival day and ending with breakfast on the departure day.
Official invitation letters and other necessary documents for participation.
Tour of Wrocław.

Exclusions:



Festival participation fee.
Optional excursions, museum tickets in Wroclaw.
Personal expenses and local transportation.
Additional meals or services.

Payment:


A 10% guarantee fee is required upfront, to be deducted from the final payment.

Program Information



The festival program includes performances, rehearsals, city tours, and cultural activities.

December 6, 2024:



Arrival in Wrocław.
Accommodation check-in (hostel/hotel).
Dinner.

December 7, 2024:



Breakfast.
City Tour: Walking tour of Wrocław, known for its 100 bridges, mysterious legends, and historical significance.
Free time for optional excursions and dwarf hunting in the city.
Return to accommodation, dinner.

December 8, 2024:



Breakfast.
Festival Day: Stage rehearsals, sound checks, and competition performances.
Opening Ceremony at Centrum Kultury.
In the evening, Festive Closing Ceremony, Awarding of participants.
Return to accommodation, dinner.

December 9, 2024:



Breakfast.
Check-out from the hotel.
Free time for shopping or additional sightseeing.
Departure home.

This program allows participants to engage with the cultural heritage of Wrocław while showcasing their artistic talents in a competitive and celebratory environment.

Excursions Information


Participants have the option to enjoy a variety of excursions during their stay in Wrocław. These activities can be booked on an optional basis.

Excursions Available:


Wrocław Zoo and Africarium: The oldest and largest zoo in Poland.
Aquapark: Enjoy water attractions at the city’s popular Aquapark.
Hydropolis Water Science Museum: Explore the fascinating world of water science.
Sky Tower Wrocław: Take in a panoramic view of the city from the 49th floor.
Tumski Island: Walk around the island illuminated by over 100 gas lanterns, lit and extinguished daily by the caretaker in a top hat and black cloak.

These excursions can be arranged upon request, and additional tickets or fees may apply.
