Participation Information

We are pleased to invite folk ensembles, choral groups, art schools, majorette teams, orchestras, and ballroom dance groups (children, youth, and adult groups) to participate in the festival, which will take place from October 15-20, 2025, in Medina, Malta. The festival’s primary aim is to present the cultural traditions of various countries and provide an opportunity for groups to connect, establish friendships, and showcase their culture through dance and music.

Eligibility: The festival is open to folk ensembles, choirs, orchestras, and majorettes, with no restrictions on gender or age.
Group Composition: Each group can have up to 70 members, including dancers, managers, musicians, and family members.
Program Requirements:
Folk Dance Groups: Prepare at least 2 folk dances, with a total performance time of 15-20 minutes (using an orchestra or USB).
Choral Groups: Prepare a 15-minute free program.
Performance Schedule: Performances will take place in the evening, allowing ample time for sightseeing during the day.

Required Submissions:

Short CV and photos of your group.
Bring your national flag.
Transportation: Groups must arrange their own transport for arrival and departure.
Limited Participation: Only 3 groups per country will be accepted to ensure diversity and quality.
