Participation Information



We invite Folk ensembles, Choral groups, Ballroom dance teams, Art schools, Music theatre, Modern dance teams, Orchestras, and Majorette teams (children and youth groups) to participate in the VII. “Summer in ADRIA” Music Festival, taking place in the beautiful region of Kvarner on the Croatian coast. The festival is open to groups from all over the world, with no age limits. Performances will be held in the charming cities of Selce and Njivica, as well as in the nearby region, offering participants a fantastic opportunity to share their art with both locals and international visitors.
Participants: Folklore groups, orchestras, majorettes, modern dance groups, choirs, music bands.
Performance Requirements: Choirs must be able to perform on open-air stages.
Limitations: The number of participants is not limited, but there are limited seats available.

Accommodation Information



Participants will be accommodated in 2-star hotels, with options for different room types and supplements.
Accommodation Type: 2-star Hotel in triple rooms.
Supplements:

Double Room Supplement: €15 per person per day.
Single Room Supplement: €30 per person per day.
Superior Room Supplement: €6 per person per day.
Meals: Half-board buffet at the hotel (breakfast and dinner included).

Note: Groups of 25 participants are entitled to one free group leader accommodation.

Participation Fee

Fee: €155 per person (2-star hotel accommodation in triple rooms).
Included in the fee:

Participation in 2 festival performances.
Accommodation with half-board (buffet breakfast and dinner).
Diplomas and gifts for each participant.
Organization expenses and travel tax.
Additional Options:

Additional days can be booked for €50 per person per day.

Program Information



15 August: – Afternoon: Arrival at the hotel, group leaders meet with festival organizers, discussion of the event schedule. – Evening: Dinner at the hotel.

16 August:
Optional: Rijeka Tour, followed by a guided city walk and visit to the Croatian National Theatre.
Evening: Performance in Njivice.
Dinner at the hotel.

17 August:
Morning: Boat trip to Vrbnik with a visit to the town and wine tasting.
Afternoon: Optional excursions, including the Cave Biserujka, guided tour of Krk, and visit to Košljun Island.
Evening: Performance in Selce’s main city square.
Dinner at the hotel.

18 August:
Morning: Breakfast and departure of participants.

Excursions Information



Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of optional excursions to explore the region, including city tours and boat trips.
Rijeka Tour (16 August):
Explore the beautiful city of Rijeka with a guided tour, featuring the Trsat Sanctuary, the Castle, and visits to notable landmarks like the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Leaning Tower of Rijeka, Kobler’s Square, and the Croatian National Theatre.

Boat Trip to Vrbnik and Kraljevica (17 August):
Sail from Selce to Vrbnik, a picturesque seafront town known for its beautiful views and the renowned Vrbnicka Zlahtina wine. In the afternoon, optional trips include:

Visit to the Cave Biserujka, followed by a drive to the town of Krk.
Explore the town of Krk and take a boat ride to the Franciscan monastery on Košljun Island.
Option to visit Baska and its sea aquarium.
Additional Costs:

Boat trip to Košljun: €7 per person.
Entrance to Sea Aquarium: €5.
